God and religion. The word “God” is such a loaded term these days, because there is so little agreement on what “God” is. Does religion even need a “God” ? Today’s conversation will start with this episode of “Closer to the Truth” Is there a god, or is there not a god. Is that the most important question ? In my opinion, no. That is not the most important question. Today we will be covering the topic of What police oversight could look like. As many people have noted in the last few days, Police Brutality is a serious problem that has been ignored for far too long. I felt like this was a good summary of the events of this last week: There are a lot of possible responses, some more helpful than others. Sometimes even attempts at solidarity can go awry.
